Nate Dog & Sticks Episodes soon to be FREE!

Monday, November 5. 2007

OK, so it's been like 4 months that we have been promising ya'll new episodes, and still - nothing. My BAD! However, all of the last ND&S Episodes will be available for free video podcast downloads very soon!

As many of you know, I (Ted) I hate Apple/iPod/Mac with a passion, and proudly I support Zune/X-Box 360/Windows, and anything elase that is non-Apple related. I am Bill Gate's biggest Fanboy. All that aside I don't want to make this sound like a Microsoft pitch, plus we are not getting paid a single dime for this either, but I just want everyone to know what's going on.

On Novevber 13th there will be anew Zune Marketplace upgrade. For those who do not know - the Zune (new versions comes out Nov 15th) is a competitor to the iPod, and the Zune Marketplace is similar to iTunes (except there aren't video downloads). [Here's a side note: The Zune Marketplace let's you subscribe to music downloads month-by-month. You can download any/every song you want ("all you can eat") for $14/mo. It really does kick iTunes ass in that respect. Ask Ichabod - he loves it. Where do you think he gets most of his music from when you wall up and request "Blinded by the Light" by Manfred Mann's Earth Band?] What I'm trying to say is that you don't have to subscribe to the Zune Marketplace, or even download the software (which is Free). But, the new software update will allow podcasting, so Ich and I are going to start releasing the last 10 episodes to our very own video podcast section. It will be a free, and if you don't want to use Zune, we'll even have a free podcasts section at Natedog&Stick.com. I don't know if or when we'll be on iTunes (Sorry, Panzy - the Mac is not on it's way in the mail), but the best news is that the videos will be free, and a positive feedback will inspire us to create more and more episodes.

Ichabod and I hope that this will be a breakthrough for ND&S, and we hope you can ride the success wave all the way to Nate Dog & Sticks the movie lol!

Thank you for all of your support thus far!

Much love,

Ichabod & T.bone

.....and we got Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked Uuuuuuuup!!!! True Story.

Great Article on Yahoo

This is from the Washington Post about living and the aging process or Senescence.

Article

There is a quote at the end which says

On Oct. 9, 1903, the New York Times wrote:

"The flying machine which will really fly might be evolved by the
combined and continuous efforts of mathematicians and mechanicians in
from one million to ten million years."

On the same day, on Kill Devil Hill, N.C., in his diary, a bicycle mechanic named Orville Wright wrote:

"We unpacked rest of goods for new machine."

I found this article very interesting and hope ya'll do too. Hope everyone had a great Halloween.
